About Me

My journey began when I was fourteen years old. I had a simple yet sincere desire: to help the elderly by providing them with comfort and beauty. That passion led me to earn my certification as a beautician, laying the foundation for my love of wellness and beauty.

In the years that followed, I worked in exceptional locations, such as luxury hotels in Austria and Switzerland—Badrutt’s Palace St. Moritz and Hotel Schloss Seefels. Here, I not only mastered the finest details of luxury spa treatments but also learned the importance of creating experiences that go beyond mere relaxation.

When I had the opportunity to work as a Spa Director in Four Seasons Hotels in Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh and Cairo, it felt like a dream come true. I was able to build-up spas from scratch, train staff, and welcome guests into world-class wellness facilities. It was intense and challenging, but above all, incredibly rewarding.

My journey then took me to Europe and the Middle East, where I played a key role in the pre-opening phase of prestigious luxury hotels. I oversaw the development and enhancement of multiple wellness locations, ensuring top-tier standards in both concept and operations. Eventually, I decided to establish my own consultancy firm: “Maria Dogsa Spa Consultant”. This gave me the opportunity to share my vision and expertise with luxury hotels.

Life eventually brought me to the Netherlands, where I embarked on a new path. In The Hague, I found my place in the management of Soap, a high-end beauty company where I oversee daily operations, administration, training, and the creation of unforgettable experiences for clients. With over thirty years of experience, I felt it was time for something new. From a deep desire to help others overcome the physical, emotional, and mental challenges of modern life, “Serenity by Maria” was born. Through my personal experiences with natural healing and energy work, I discovered how powerful these practices can be. They helped me understand myself better, find my own strength, and achieve balance.

Now, I share that knowledge and strength with others. Through treatments such as Access Bars and Reiki, combined with personal coaching, I aim to help people reconnect with their true selves and experience life with greater ease. This work feels like my passion—and I am grateful to guide people on their own journey to well-being and balance every day.
